How fantastic! A garden of the desert! Never really gave the cactis a second thought but this garden is a living, breathing museum of cacti and desert life. I was blown away by how cool this garden was! Docents everywhere, friendly and welcoming, quick to engage you with the desert. So much to see, I don't know how people could see everything in 1 visit. I like the gravel walkways, the concrete and steel look so out of place. Kaneko sculptures everywhere --what a treat! And touching is encouraged. There are several sections with plants identified plus historical information including medicinal properties and how this particular plant adapted to the desert. Very cool.
