After a long day of Sunday Funday, my friend and I found ourself with my dog checking into the Artisan. (Yes, dog friendly.) Pool staff was very accommodating, even brought my pup down to join the pool party. Only thing that kinda sucked was the planned party that night was cancelled last minute. I don't think anyone would have told us if I had not asked the bartender where everyone was at. Room was just okay. Carpet was basically ripped off the floor, but decor was very cute and unique. Staff were all very nice, minus the no-emotion valet attendant. Don't think he smiled once, even though I always generously tipped him during every interaction. Lastly, if you're going to be dog friendly, I think it would be appropriate to have an area to relieve your dog. Since it's not the greatest neighborhood, even a little patch of grass would suffice. Can't be a $40 room for last minute though that embraces dogs.
