Yes, yes, it's the bar highlighted on Queer as Folk. Truth be told, I completely forgot about that when coming to check out Toronto's diminutive gay village on my little long-weekender to Canada, but once we were there and popped onto Yelp and saw all of those comments, it made us laugh a bit. We'd both seen the show, and it did bring back some memories, though I'd have to watch it again to really have it click back into place. It was an odd night to review it... you see, we were there for Winter Storm Electra, so it was a ghost town. Only a few couples here and there, very slow. But I can't blame the bar for that. The bartenders were friendly, the place was huge and fun, the vibe was good, and I could totally see myself hanging there on a busy night. It was a cool spot, I'll have to return in a summer night and check it out in full effect!
