This place is a mess. Miscommunication and lack of consistency are the biggest issues. If you go to this hospital, make sure to stay on top of the medications you are given, especially any medications that you were taking prior to your hospital visit. This hospital is probably ok for simple issues such as dehydration or viral issues, but I would NOT RECOMMEND going there if you have a serious issue. Some of the medical professionals are excellent, some are ok, and others are horrible. The rooms are nice, especially since you don't have to share them. The staff seem overworked and frustrated with both the overcrowding and procedures. My mom was in the ER for over 48 hours because they didn't have a room available to transfer her to. It appears that the nurses are not encouraged to be empowered and they appear to be scared to fix things such as inaccurate information in charts. I'm not sure if they are avoiding a lengthy correction procedure or if they are scared of retaliation. Overall, steer clear of this place. It used to be one of the best in town, now it is an accident waiting to happen.
