Flex is a pretty typical bathhouse establishment. It's a large facility with a pool and jacuzzi in the courtyard. It's the place to go during the summer months (because of the pool) or if you smoke, which is allowed in the courtyard. Flex attracts both locals and tourists of all kinds, but generally the crowd is middle-aged. Currently, the best times to go appear to be Mon-Thurs from noon to 4pm when they have the $4 locker special (w/ membership). The busiest times can draw in 30-40 people, though the capacity of the club is much larger. The down side is that this facility really, really really needs some upgrading/repairs. Another drawback is that there are precious few places to sit down and watch videos. While there are video monitors throughout the place, they're in very strange places and don't have any seating around them. And like nearly every other bath place around the US, Flex Phoenix is a pain to check in/out of, with little pieces of paper to sign, ID check, and membership check.
