Had Parker and Sons out yesterday for my annual tune-up. Hard to say how they did on the tuneup since I wasn't up on the roof monitoring anything. So I will assume they did their job. BUT here's the problem: The tech found that my disconnect needed to be re-mounted and quoted me $616 for the work. That sounded high to me, so I declined and got a second opinion today from Lee Collins Air Conditioning Company. He LAUGHED at the quote I showed him from Parker and Sons and said it's a $40 part. Horrified by this company's dishonesty and rip-off mentality. Will NOT be using them again. Can you imagine how many people would have just forked over that extra $576 to them for no reason?! Disgusting business practice. Now we know how they fund all those TV commercials.
