La Grande Orange Grocery, known as simply LGO to locals and its coffee shop set up is simply on point. It's a bit boutique-ish but the food and coffee doesn't lie, they serve good stuff, as well as having a solid selection of cheese and wine. If you're from out of town, eat at any of the LGO spots (the pizza place next door, or Ingo's across the way...) you will know why it's buzzin' with local Phoenicians.
Why go there:
The coffees are incredibly well done, they are served at a good temperature and the baristas are not shy of suggesting some of their latest, fun creations. You can also grab a quick pre-packed salad, baked good, some locally made house wine and imported cheeses. Look at the kitchen back there, things are rockin' behind that open kitchen... good, local goodies are made here with love.
