It took me a very long time to get my hair long, but I knew I needed to get layers cut in to give my hair body. I want to the Village Salon and Spa because it look like a nice salon. The hair stylist was young, blond, and extremely nice. That's the good part of the review. I told her I wanted to keep my hair as long as possible, but wanted layers and bangs. She trimmed my hair and cut my bangs to my nose. Way too long. She told me she gave me "under layers". Cost $35.00. Basically, I got a trim but no layers. I went back and told her again that I wanted layers and definitely wanted layers around my face. Again, no layers and this time my hair, that took so long to grow is now 7 inches shorter! When the manager asked her if it was a redo or a whole new cut, she told the manager it was a new cut! So, I had to pay again! So, I took a road trip to Cali to have my daughter fix it. She said it was an awful cut and that there was a chunk cut out of my hair in the back. I will never go back to this place. No wonder they weren't very busy. By the way, hair looks great now, but very short.
