We made our first trip to the recently opened Windsor tonight in North Central Phoenix. Very enjoyable! The influence of the Postino's ownership is felt when you enter the restaurant. Cozy indoor space opening up into a well shaded patio area.
The menu selection is limited...think salads and bar food. Drink options are plentiful. We had the Halibut and Crab Cake BLT sandwiches, with good side choices beyond just the standard french fries and fruit salad. Excellent and well recommended.
The only negative tonight was the waits at times once seated. It certainly wasn't for lack of the servers' efforts, as they were clearly diligent and keeping busy for too many tables. Hopefully this ratio is just a blip in opening, as the food and setting are definitely there.
We didn't try the ice cream options at Churn next door, but they definitely looked good. We'll be back.
