Those who know me, know I'm a stickler for my hair - especially the colour. I have been colouring my hair as long as I know and used to struggle finding a hair stylist I trusted and enjoyed until Aveda. My introduction to Aveda Academy was a total fluke. I had responded to an online advertisement calling for hair models. Being hesitant from once having my hair almost ruined from a hair show, I decided to give it a shot as Aveda carries a very high reputation. The woman I was assigned was actually an educator who was filling a spot in the class and understood my needs very well. I loved the result and got her personal info so I could book with her next time. Unfortunately, she went on to graduate from the Academy and work for Fiorio in Oakville. I didn't really know what to do until the kind receptionist suggested I book with Kathy, who was actually her instructor. Kathy is amazing and has no intention of leaving the academy. Her passion lies in teaching and doing great hair - especially blondes (trust me). I will be using their services for a very long time.
