This cute little Japanese mart is the closest thing to Mitsuwa in Las Vegas.
Japan Creek is only a drive away from where I live, so it's a convenient stop on days I don't want to drive all the way up to Chinatown for Asian grocery items. The only reason this place is a winner to me is because they carry a variety of different Japanese curry mixes!
They have a good selection of produce, Japanese snacks, fresh baked goods, and all their bento's & rolls are made fresh daily. While it seems like their produce tend to be on the expensive side, they're definitely of good quality.
The staff here is super friendly. Make sure to come here early for fresh baked goodies, rolls, and bento's -- they tend to sell most of it around lunch time. Unless you like the plum onigiri (which seems to be the only thing left whenever I stop by JCM), then you're good.
