I think this is the first review I ever wrote for a Grocery Store, but this one did deserve all 5 stars for making up a mistake that happened in the Deli at the Avondale branch on Dysart. I am a loyal customer since more than 5 years now, love their Wednesday- and Weekend-offers, and although we moved further away, I still try to shop there regularly. Recently I was quite disappointed at a meal that I purchased from their Deli counter. I almost wanted to write a bad review, that's how upset I was. But instead I decided to give them a chance and I contacted the store management online. I got a call back from the director of Food City right away and the way he managed to make it right again was simply amazing. It was important for me to see that they really care about the customer and I am impressed how it was handled. I went back to the store and the staff was very helpful and friendly as they usually are. One person can make it wrong and it's easy to get upset from one incident. But giving them a chance to make it right was a good decision. The management really does care and I got back the confidence in Food City. Thank you.
