I drove eight miles through a haboob to eat at Sandella's Flatbread Cafe. I had really high expectations because of the reviews on Yelp.
My friend and I ordered $20 worth of food: 2 drinks, a bag of chips, sweet potato fries, a provolone & veggie panini, and a flatbread.
The flatbread was good. The panini was not. The chipotle sauce became liquid and it kept dripping out of the panini. It got very messy every time that I took bite. Worst of all, the bottom part of my panini became soggy. Are paninis suppose to be like that? If you're here with a date or coworkers, do not order any paninis with chipotle sauce.
Overall, management needs to make sure all of their menu items are mess-free.
