WOW! Yesterday was my birthday and my husband told me to pick a place to go for dinner. I wanted to go somewhere that was different, that wasn't too fancy, but was also a little more upscale. I remembered that I was sent a coupon for a free desert at any Fox Concepts Restaurants. I was really ping-ponging between Olive & Ivy and another restaurant in Phoenix. I'm glad that I picked Olive & Ivy because I was so impressed and the food was AMAZING! This place has an awesome atmosphere. They had a live DJ, their windows/doors were open. It's really a "grand" space. The menu is fairly simple, which I understand changes fairly often. I ordered the sea scallops with polenta and my husband had a salad. I was amazed at how yummy my dish was. (I've never had polenta before so I hope it all tastes like this one!) My husbands salad looked really good too, I even had to have a few bites. After dinner I ordered the lemon pudding cake. Oh. Em. Gee! The cake was so light and fluffy and just amazing. I have to checkout the other restaurant that I decided against next!!!
