To be upfront about it, this is a pretty basic and typical Thai restaurant. The interior isn't bad but seems a bit worn and the staff are friendly and seem very hard at work, bustling around tending to both customers in the restaurant and takeout orders. However, the food is somewhat lackluster and the menu is exactly the standard presentation of Thai American where you have the exact same curries and specials as probably three fourths of Thai restaurants across the nation. At that, my larb salad with chicken was only decent and not in any way remarkable. The prices though are fair and if you're easily pleased with your Thai food you may find this place a good choice. To me, it's three stars, the reason is there isn't anything amiss or wrong with Thai Emerald but nothing to distinguish it amongst its competitors either.
