This was by far the best collection of Native American art that I have ever seen. Some of the exhibits had really unique items while others had stuff that I had seen before. I really liked the fusion of art and history. I learned a lot about the local Indian tribes, past and present. Sometimes the galleries felt a little disjointed... I think that comes from the fact that most of the pieces were from a private collection that was donated rather than being cultivated and collected selectively as in most museums.
Overall, it's not my favorite museum in the city. But everyone who lives here should visit at least once. I think it would be a great place to take out of town guests as well.
