Grimiest Walmart I've ever been to. The workers are always rude, it's the closest one to my new home and I've never been treated so cruelly until moving here. I'll definitely make it a point to travel north to the next closest one IF I ever go to Walmart so I don't have to deal with such miserable people. Today I wanted to return two items I recently purchased. I called to find out what I would need because I couldn't find my receipt. They advised that I would get a store credit and if I wanted "cash back" that I would need my receipt and a valid drivers license. I ended up finding my receipt, headed over to the store to return it. The guy at the door was the friendliest person I've ever encountered btw. We head to customer service, and as Huda is processing our items to be returned she asks for the card we used. I was surprised because this wasn't something they said I needed over the phone and we recently had our cards shut down because there were fraudulent charges. Our bank just issued us new cards so I no longer carried that old card with me. I explained what happened and Huda said she was going to issue us an in-store credit on a gift card, which was what I wanted to avoid and the reason I searched for my receipt and called first to understand the whole return process. She located a manager and she too said they would have to issue a credit. I explained my situation since Huda didn't, and the manager very rudely said "too bad, you get a store credit." I tell her I don't want a store credit and she points at a paper on their counter and says "well sorry it says it on there!" Luckily I live near by and still have my old card, we take our items and go back home to grab the card. We get back to the store and all Huda does is look at the card and that's it. She doesn't scan it, she just "verified" that the card matched the last 4 on the receipt. I understand if that's a part of their policy, but the way the manager handled it, very uncompassionate and sassy, was unacceptable. I've worked in retail and still to this day do customer service with my own business. Her behavior was unprofessional and a bad reflection on the company. I will never go back to this location ever again and Walmart will definitely not be a first choice for me. I don't care how inexpensive things are, I'd rather pay the price at Target or Bed Bath and Beyond and be treated nicely. Now I know why my SIL told me not to go to this location when we first moved here. If you can avoid this particular location, do yourself a favor and go to a different location so you don't have to deal with drama.
