Hole in rock is located inside Papigo Park just south of Desert botanical gardens. It's free to park and visit which makes it nice. There are multiple Ramadas which provide shade around the rocks if you're wanting to have a picnic which is convenient. Walk up to the hole and rock and enjoy the spectacular view of downtown Phoenix! Amazing spot to come for sunsets whether you're photographing or just sitting back and enjoying.
