This mom and pop shop is a bit endearing. There is one waitress (presumably the owner) for the entire place so when there's more than 2 parties at the restaurant, service is bound to be slow. There were about 3 parties, including ourselves, at around 8pm and it took about an hour for our food to arrive. The Ban Chan she prepared for us sat at the front counter for about 25 minutes because she was so caught up with taking order and running around the place. We ultimately refilled our own teas and served ourselves in order to free her up some time. You can't blame her because it's a one man show, but at the same time it's a bit silly they haven't hired someone to help by now. The food is decent. It's certainly not four stars, and I'm not comparing this to Los Angeles. For those who have been to Honeypig in MD/VA, I think the meat there is better. Lackluster Dishes: -Bugolgi -Pork Belly -Japjae -Seafood Bibimbap Decent Dishes: -Seafood Pancake -Seafood soup (Sundubu jjigae)
