Today's experience was particularly upsetting.
After two unsuccessful attempts of going to the store to pick up a prescription, I finally received a phone call informing me that it would be ready for pick up today, 7/1/2016.
A third time, I drove to pick it up this morning & the clerk told me that my prescription was out-of-stock.
I asked to speak with a pharmacist, who blamed the problem on the prescription being a controlled substance, saying this type of pharmaceutical inventory doesn't arrive until much later in the day.
I disagreed with her & tried to explain that this was a "customer service" issue because I feel it would have been very easy for the person who called me to tell me what time the prescription would be available for me to drive over to pick up.
The pharmacist walked away in a huff before I was finished speaking.
This type of behavior from staff in leadership positions should be unacceptable. This pharmacist should be reprimanded.
