For honesty and dependable response this company is it. I called Steve for an estm on a new unit. My current unit had not failed yet but it was 19 years old and I didn't feel it was efficient in cooling and ran almost consistently. Steve asked many questions to evaluate my usage and needs and then tested the unit's cooling elements. He did not just evaluate the unit but also the venting in my home and heat readings in the various rooms. I felt he was very thorough and knowledgeable in his questions also. No matter how many times I asked about a new unit he did not agree that was the needed course at this time. He mentioned I was slightly low on freon so he mitigated that and then suggested a vent cover design change to eliminate restrictive air flow in my largest and hottest room. Since the two vents were replaced and my freon was topped off I have not had to turn my ceiling fan on and the ambient air temp is three degrees cooler than previously! My friend's unit went out the same weekend and I recommended she contact Tru-Air.. Steve was quickly able to respond to her call when another service company could not diagnose her unit's issues. You will be pleased and confident with the service Tru-Air provides.
