We had a really odd experience last night when the girl at the register told us our card was declined as a joke. After allowing minutes to go by of us being a little panicked and trying to figure out what was going on with our card, she smiled and said "Oh, it went through, I was just messing with you. I do this all the time, you should see people's faces. I used to work at McDonald's and do this all the time there, too." How inappropriate! What we got to eat last night was good, but not worth someone trying to embarrass/prank us.
