I absolutely loved this museum! They have such a wide variety of interesting exhibits, from costumes to cars, and everything in between. There's even a pretty substantial children's area featuring a bunch of interactive exhibits set aside just for kids, which I thought was a nice touch. And the new refurbished carousel is super fun--two rides included in the price of admission!
Be sure not to miss out on the Hay-McKinney House. You can only access it during timed tours with a museum guide, and it wound up being one of my favorite exhibits. I was sad that their old fashioned city street (located in the basement with the cars) was closed, but once it's up and running I'm sure it will be another excellent addition to the museum.
