Yelp had us really excited for this place. Like others have pointed out, this business is just two doors down from ACE, so that is a big plus! The shop is clean, simple, and bright.
We went on a Saturday night and Ice Lab was totally empty, even though ACE was completely filled. It made me wonder why this place isn't busier. Regardless, the man working was very helpful and pointed us toward the Strawberry Snowflake.
First of all, it was super exciting to watch him make the snow, as we had never seen the process before. He poured milk into a machine and layered the shaved milk ice with strawberry syrup. It was a huge portion! Then he topped it with more syrup, strawberries, and fruity pebbles. It looked great!
It also tasted great and had a really interesting texture. We liked it a lot!
We will be back soon and I hope others will show his place some love in the meantime!
