I thought I'd check out this nail salon as I was in need of a pedicure and this one had a decent amount of reviews. When I walked in I was greeted immediately which was nice. Unfortunately their internet was down so I couldn't use the debit/credit machine.
The young man warned me that the atm machine next door at the Mac's charged an arm and a leg so I went to Food Basics across the street and took money out.
I didn't make an appointment (though I wouldn't have been able to get through anyways since their internet was down) but thankfully it wasn't too busy. The young man Ming (Minh? sorry for the spelling) proceeded to pop me on a massage chair after I picked out my colour. He was very friendly and apparently he had a lot coffee so he was more loud and energetic than usual (though I think he's usually upbeat which isn't a problem :)) The massage chair wasn't that comfortable but Ming's mini foot massage made up for it. The only think was I didn't know how long I was supposed to sit with the nail dryer as I don't get manis/pedis very often. I think Ming forgot about me which is partially understandable since there was a rush of people that came in after me.
My pedi was $25 (no tax with cash!) and my toes felt very pampered. I will definitely come back as a mani/pedi is $35 which is a great! :)
