Great brewery in Old Mecklenburg's old space.
First of all, I love the design of the taproom! It is beautiful, and I love that they managed to recreate this space for themselves. From the ropes hanging from the ceiling, to the blue tiles, to the booth seating the design is great.
They seem to be defining themselves as a Belgian brewery. They tend to have their staples on all the time and rotate some seasonals in and out like other breweries. I find overall that they do not have as many available on the regular as other breweries. It seems like every time we go there are only 1 or two different beers than the last time we were there. I do love Belgian beers though, so I often like many of their beers. Their dubbel is one of my favorites. I also loved their anniversary Quad, but that was a one time thing.
I love that you can get small pours of the beers and a flight, so you can try multiple things.
Also, they have a small food menu, and it was quite good. I love that this is an option here.
Definitely worth checking out!
