The Maple Leaf Lounge in terminal 1 saved me when my flight was delayed several hours. I have been here a couple times -- if you know someone who is a Star Alliance Elite member, sometimes they get guest passes and such.
What I appreciated:
- More quiet and spacious than the rest of the airport
- Open bar
- Lots of snacks (e.g. veggies and dip, bean salad, soup, ravioli, chips)
- Newspapers in English and French
- Free magazines, including Toronto Life, Style at Home, etc.
- Showers! (you have to go to the front to get a key)
- Computer stations in case you didn't bring a laptop
- Free wifi
- Nice washrooms
A relaxing way to pass the time while waiting for your flight!
