Bof. I have to say I enjoy the Hyatt for its locationand the energy in the front lobby. It's a pretty young crowd and I almost always run into travelling artists and teams here, so it's nice to be around if you want to take advantage of what Toronto has to offer it's 30-somethings. But as far as the rooms go, they lack a certain warmth. Our room didn't have a fridge or bar, which is fine, but it didn't make up for that in space. The Hyatt strives to be modern but miss the mark. The bathrooms need an upgrade (soaker tubs or rainforest shower head please) given how much the stay costs. The front desk staff and room service crew are always kind and accommodating which earns a star in this review. As for their eating-in menu, it is totally uninspiring as you would imagine. There are some wonderful dining options nearby (despite condo mania taking over) so the Regency may want to offer more interesting dishes to keep guests happy. On that note I RECOMMEND- staying away from the eggs Benny. EXTRA TIP- internet is $14.95 daily for basic, $34.95 daily for premium. Foutaise.
