It's not Matsumoto's but it is about 3000 miles closer. They make a fine effort at a classic shave ice and the prices are reasonable. There's no place to sit, so plan on pacing the hot parking lot or dripping in your car. Refreshing? Yup. Nice folk? Yup. It's just...missing...something.
