I got conned into purchasing steaks from this company last week after their sales rep came up to me when I was working on my front lawn, saying he really needed to make a sale. I asked about the meat, explaining that we only purchase grass fed beef. He claimed it was grass fed beef. I purchased it from him and didn't try it for several days. I am well-known for making excellent steaks. Tried the "filet mignon" which almost made me and my wife vomit, it was so gross. Definitely not a real filet mignon. Also cooked two rib eyes which turned out really weird too. All the pieces I've tried didn't cook like any prime or choice meat I've cooked before. This gross meat cooked up having a weird fatty bubble gum texture. My wife is a steak lover, but after one or two bites was so grossed out she couldn't eat any more. We were totally ripped off by Residential Gourmet and the lies and misrepresentation of their sales rep. Apparently deception is part of the sales training for this company... tell the consumer it's all natural, grass-fed, anything they want to hear. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED -- DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!
