I went here in May 2011, and it was an enjoyable experience. Campground was clean and well kept. Plenty of spots for fishing are available. You can hear the traffic off Interstate 74 so it's not as secluded or peaceful as I had hoped.
The gnats and mosquitoes were horrible (perhaps this is only the case in early May/Spring). Raccoons are very brave at night and I had to chase them off every night as I relaxed by my campfire. I suggest keeping food including coolers in your vehicle overnight.
Not a bad place to spend a weekend!
