Staff is rude. Management is too cool to even come out of the office to speak with me. I have been a member of two Golds Gyms over the last 10 years. I have 100% loyal to the brand as I moved around but that certainly does not matter to anyone who works at this club. I was attempting to re-join this gym after moving back to the area. It took me three visits and not once was I made to feel welcome or my loyalty appreciated. I went in today to complete the sign up process and was meet by the absolute rudest young lady at the front desk. Her name was Paige and she treated me as if I were bothering her and worth zero % of her time. She did not greet me, smile, ask if I needed any help. When I asked for help she just stared at me with no expression on her face but distaste. I absolutely do not understand why someone like that would be working with customers. She did not care that I was a long time member and explained to me that Golds were franchises so it really did not matter... Really??? I think it does matter. I'm going continue looking for another gym and when I find it I will cancel at golds. So sad because I have really loved working out at golds:(( NOTE: The manager did call and apologize for the situation, which I appreciated.
