Guru Palace is the only place on the East side that I've found can make my favorite Indian dish - Rogan Josh. For that alone, it has become a favorite of mine. They also have wide variety of other regional dishes for people who like something OTHER than curry (yes, there are other types of Indian food for those who may not know). I have never tried the buffet but several people I've gone with have had it and said it's very good. The naan bread is perfect as is the cucumber raita. There are two things that keep Guru Palace from 5 stars in my book. First is the entree pricing - pretty expensive compared to many other Indian restaurants. Second, I find the service to be somewhat curt; a warm welcome wouldn't hurt. Every time I crave Indian though, this is where I get my fix!
