I'm SO disappointed and angry. My daughter is nearly 6 and needed a place to go over the summer. This place seemed to have good reviews so I called them to get more information. I was pleasantly surprised at the daily rates and how knowledgeable and friendly the woman on the phone sounded. It seemed like a great place.
I called in the morning to ask if they provide lunch or if I should pack her one. They said they provide it so I didn't pack one for her. I dropped her off at 6:45 am and picked her up at 6pm. When I picked her up she was starving. We got home and she told me that she only ate Oreos all day and that she got punched in the stomach and hit in the lip! There was no incident report and no mention of it by the staff when I picked her up. Sometimes things go unseen, and in those cases I suppose it's expected to learn of it later on, but my daughter specifically told me they acknowledged it and said something to the boy.
Oh but it gets better...
My daughter had an accident in her pants. She has not had an accident in I can't tell you how long! She said there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and she didn't feel comfortable. I asked her if she said anything to the teacher and she said she didn't tell anyone and they didn't know she had an accident. But how could you not know? There was a huge wet mark on her bottom and I could smell it!
In addition, there was no learning curriculum. She said she played all day long and had story time. No ABC's and no math.
Words aren't enough to explain how saddened and angry I am that she had such a rough day. She will NOT be coming back!
