I was heading through Phoenix & needed a room for a short stay, so I booked the Days Inn in Tempe. I should have known better when they charged me a security deposit (which still hasn't been released a week later). This motel is absolutely the last place you want to stay. The motel appears to be mainly a weekly apartment building for locals with a few rooms for visitors. There was even tons of piled up furniture taking up about half the parking on one side of the building. I stayed in room 135. The room itself was in disrepair, the bathroom was dirty and there was even feces on the blow dryer. But the best part was the duct taped bullet hole on the security glass. Needless to stay, I won't be booking another Days Inn any time soon.
