So as I walk in, some guy is nice enough to hold the door open. I go in and walk to the counter and ask for some cigarettes. She said "I'll need both of your IDs" I say " I only have one ID what do you mean?" She says "the guy you walked in with, I need his ID as well" So I tell her I'm not with him we just happened to walk in at the same time. She says she doesn't care and needs his ID. We go back and forth for a second...Then I say let me get your manager.(I'm on the back end of my lunch break in a hurry). So, the Asst. manager comes up, she tells him the situation. I say "I"M NOT WITH THE PERSON, WE DROVE SEPERATE. WE JUST HAPPENED TO WALK IN AT THE SAME TIME" Long story short, they refuse to sell me some smokes w/o this guy showing his ID.. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I get that you have the right to refuse a customer, but I feel there should be some valid justification when doing so. Don't take it out on me because you're stuck in some horrible $8 an hour job and hate your life.
