I really enjoyed shopping here for grocery's when I first moved to Cleveland Heights. The manager welcomed me to the neighborhood, the selection of food is excellent and the shopping environment is excellent.
The big downside was all the rotten food that they have stocked on the aisles. You have to be attentive to the expiration dates on every item you pick up. For a few months straight, every big shopping trip I had at Zagaras yielded some sort of rotten something. Cheese, milk, meat, whatever.
I don't do my day to day shopping here anymore, but I still stop at Zagaras for the occasional item. For instance, their liquor section is the most comprehensive I've seen anywhere around the area.
