2.5 stars. Not a bad hotel. My family stayed here for two nights a few days apart. The lobby looks nice, but the room-level floors look somewhat dingy and old-fashioned. Must be the brown decor. That being said, everything is very clean, which I am grateful for. I cannot abide by staying at dirty hotels/motels.
One complaint is the fan in the heater and A/C unit is unbearably loud. The fan turned on and off all night, and each time it did there was a wrenching sound that seemed like the fan would break. There was no way to turn to turn it off completely. After the first night of that unbearable noise, the second time around we asked to be put in rooms where the fan was not so loud. This time they put us in rooms on floor 10, which seem to be rooms for people with allergies, as each room came with an air purifier. Unfortunately, the fan was also unbearably noisy with no way to turn it off. At least the first night, the fan would occasionally turn off automatically, but this one just whirred the entire night. The beds are on the harder side, but I prefer harder beds so that was fine by me.
