This place is awful. The apartment that was given to us was infested with roaches, the toilet came without a toilet seat, and two of the kitchen shelves were completely broken. And that is the condition that management deemed fit to give to new residents. The very first night we moved in, a homeless person broke into one of my roommates car. We called the cops and when they investigated, the homeless person was found doing heroin in the backseat. Two weeks later, we come into the apartment to see that our ceiling fan completely disconnected from the ceiling and was hanging on exposed wire, a good 12 inches apart from the ceiling. Since the fan was running when it happened, one of the fan blades was still scraping against the ceiling and sparks were coming out of the exposed wire. My roommate had to disassemble it himself and brought it to the front office. It took maintenance 4 MONTHS to finally come by with a new fan and install it. Speaking of maintenance, this place has the worst maintenance I've ever dealt with. Appointments mean nothing to them, so don't even bother. Even after scheduling appointments, you'll have to call the front office at least 6 times before one of the maintenance guys gives you a second of their attention. We scheduled what seemed like 10 appointments with them to help fix the fan. They would give us a time frame and day they would stop by (usually 9-4 is the time frame they'll give you, so they expect you to be home all day) then they show up at 3:58 and say "Sorry, I don't have time", and force you to reschedule for another day where they can blow you off again. Ridiculous. This place is an embarrassment. Not to mention the living properties are not safe, and I would much rather pay an extra $100/month to a different apartment complex that actually knows what they're doing.
