I had been seeing someone that I followed from the Dobson location to Raintree. I've got a membership and I have been paying monthly for services. When I called last week to ask for them, I was told they had left massage envy. I called Tempe Marketplace last week and got recommended for the best. I spoke with someone with a hyphenated name, might have been Mary Ellen. I looked at appointments on Thursday's and Saturdays as far out as through July. I had been willing to wait. We decided together I would do well with Britt, after we determined Brittany and another girl she had recommended-their schedules weren't available til further out and I would try Britt and then move onto them. I told her at the time I preferred women not men. The appointment was scheduled for today at 530. It is 1pm. I just got a call informing me her schedule had changed and I could get in to see a male instead. I called back furious. The guy I spoke to about it all was dumbfounded and handed me to the airheaded sounding lady Kylie who had left me the voice message and she said she was a manager and I asked to speak to someone other than the idiot that was calling me on the fly last minute and she handed me to a man who she said was another manager. I asked to speak to Mary Ellen and he said Mary Helen is doing a massage..He apologized very insincerely and was laughing at the end of our conversation which was very unprofessional and insulting. I asked when her schedule changed and he said the beginning of this week. And I said--then why wasn't I notified THEN instead of four hours before my appointment? I only had availability on Thursday and I had spoken in advance with someone else who sounded like they knew what they were doing last week and she had given me lots of options. I said we expect to give 24 hour notice for cancellations, why wasn't I notified sooner? He said that it happens automatically and somehow they aren't notified til the day of. What a ridiculously lazy sounding answer. And bad business. I'm glad this experience happened to me early before I arrived and saw what a bunch of assholes work here. I still can't believe he had the gall to laugh at me after that. Edit-To the business manager--the link you have provided does not exist on my end and won't connect me with any real page. Please try again. If you are even really sincere.
