One word for this Volkswagen: SHADY. My yellow check engine light came on and I took my baby here. I am a college student and wow did I learn my lesson. $140 dollars just to be looked at. Ok fine whatever what other choice do I have. Then comes the problems and bill: $1300. I was told that my engine fans were failing and something was wrong with my gas tank. It was gut wrenching. After a meltdown, I took my car to Meineke. They tested the codes multiple times and there was NOTHING WRONG WITH MY FANS! I've been driving it for a week since and the light has not come back on nor has my Passat showed signs of overheating. Just really really disheartening that Volkswagen gave me false information and a fat bill to go with it.
