The place is very hip, young and ultra trendy -- with neon lights.
So don't go here if you're not young, hip and ultra trendy. Lots of yuppies walking around drunk, dressed to the ten and ready to party. It's definitely a place to go with a large group of friends! It is not for a romantic getaway either --- try Palazzo or something for that.
The check in: lukewarm. They have iPads at every check-in location, you would think that they would train their check-in clerks how to use computers. The check-in process took forever. But it could be that I was bad luck... and just got the slow clerk. But really IT WAS REALLY SLOW. After a long day on the road... It would be nice if they made the check in process less painful.
Room service: We called for room service twice (for two separate requests), each time it took them more than 1 hour to show up? Really? 5 star hotel... come on.
Room itself: GORGEOUS. We stayed in the 1-Bedroom (high up floor) with an amazing view of the Bellagio Fountain. It was just amazing. The rooms were trendy, high quality and nothing short of world class experience. I LOVED LOVED LOVED it.
Will I be returning? With a large group of friends --- yes!
Romantic getaway or family vacation trip? --- No!
All in all, the hotel could improve on the customer service. But the building has got it right!!!
P.S. Finding the entrance to this hotel is NOT easy!!! It's in a deep dark secret corner... that lots of people struggle to find. No grand driveway like many other big hotels either.
