I enjoyed my first-time visit with family for a Saturday afternoon lunch. Loved the tableside guacamole. They use all fresh ingredients and don't overmash the avocados.
Taco platters are good portions. You get three tacos, all the size of small street tacos. The pork tacos were loaded with meat. They were a bit too sweet for me but I can appreciate that they would be fitting for someone who likes that style. The butternut squash tacos are good, but I recommend them as an appetizer. They were much smaller (in terms of filling) than the pork.
This place is ideal for tequila lovers. The waiter told me they do tequila flights. But I opted for the blood orange margarita from their cocktail list. Their margaritas use all fresh squeezed juices.
If you eat inside, be prepared to turn the flashlight app on your phone. While the interior has a relaxing, candlelit vibe, it is super dark, hence no food photos on this post! The interior has almost a gothic feel. I could almost imagine cob webs hanging from the chandeliers at Halloween! A fun place overall, and service is great, too!
