Well, I emailed Dr McJunkin, who I believe to be a caring man. His nurse called quickly after he received my email, and asked me to come in on Wednesday to discuss treatment options. As of Robins last words, I don't have a doctor, but hopefully Dr. McJunkin will finally listen to me. I'll update after the appointment. I spoke to two doctors who made it clear that even though I had been honest about my issues, (wont go into detail here, lets just say some pills don't always digest) Told me in no uncertain terms that they would not treat my pain symptoms with opiodes anymore. Even though that's the only treatment my insurance will cover for this condition. (they don't cover chiropractic, or other things) I understand they see all sorts of people, but why bother with out of the box cases, if they are just going to be thrown aside. Why have me come in again? was it to charge the insurance company one last time? I truly think not. I just observe that APS is more concerned with covering themselves than helping patients. Looking back I wish I had done whatever had to be done in order to show normal tests, do without for a few days and double up before the appointment. Perhaps that's what I should have done all along.
