We boarded our two small dogs at R & R Pet Resort while we were vacationing in the Ashland, OR area. We were actually staying in Jacksonville, so the resort was halfway between Ashland (where we were dining and seeing plays) and where we were staying.
This is a first-class, very large boarding facility - I was very impressed when we drove up the first time. Our dogs stayed in a very reasonably priced (at least compared to California prices) indoor/outdoor run. They were allowed to have their own toys, beds and crate, which other places don't do. They also fed my pups the roast chicken I had prepared for them (yes, they are spoiled).
I liked the fact that we were "allowed" back into the facility and that we were able to visit them and even take them out with us for hours at a time. It made leaving them there that much easier! As did knowing that they were only 15 minutes away.
I think for two dogs, five nights, extra play time, and "going home" baths, with clippings, we paid about $210. Works for me!!! Highly recommended!
