This was a fun activity for my family and I to do while home for Christmas. My mom really wanted us to do this as a family and it was the fun experience she had hoped for. She isn't particularly tech savvy, but said that the online booking was really easy and the price was reasonable. We had one person in our party cancel and they offered to give a credit for a future party which was unexpected and appreciated. When we arrived the room was already set up with everything that we would need. Our canvas was set up on an easel at each spot with a pencil outline drawn to help us get started. The necessary paints were already set out on a plate in front of the canvas. We also had brushes, cups of water, and napkins. If I could give a small suggestion for future groups it would be to spread people out a bit more. There was a lot of extra space in the room, but we were crammed in tight. It was a little awkward trying to get past people in such a tight space. It wasn't anything that ruins the fun, but a little more space might enhance the experience. Participants are allowed to bring food and drink to enjoy during the painting time. The shop has everything you need for this including paper plates, paper napkins, corkscrews, wine chillers, and cups. Most people just squeezed their food in between the easels to keep it nearby since the table was across the room from the easels. Our instructor was really fun and did a good job of making a room of random people feel like one big party. The music was playing and the mood was jovial. She did move a little fast on the painting instructions for those of us that were first timers. Luckily there were several breaks to catch up. I liked that there were drying stations so that we weren't leaving with wet art. I'd definitely recommend this to groups looking for a fun activity. Bonus: I now have a cool painting for my garage.
