I've stayed at the Hampton Inn down the street for years while in town for business, but on this particular stay I decided to try the Homewood Suites. Located closer to the Strip District, this property is well worth the price. The hotel is not that old so you have the look and feel of a modern hotel. The customer service is top-notch as well as the all of the other amenities. In the evening during the week, there is a social hour with food and a bar. Although I'm not sure when it is complimentary or not as one night it was free and another night the wine was fifty cents. Whatever the case, you can't beat that price. There is valet parking, which is the only negative compared to free parking at the Hampton Inn, but between the two the positives here outweigh the negatives, so I'll be staying at the Homewood in the future.
