Great and honest food in a residential corner of Las Vegas away from overrated strip. Do your wallet a favor and try good food in real Las Vegas. This place specializes in Tonkatsu which is a Japanese cutlet - the coating is light and crispy but the meat is more moist that a schnitzel. We sat at the bar and talked with the owner, smart cookie- very friendly and knowledgeable of her trade. The dishes don't exceed 17 or 18 bucks. We had the chicken and pork Tonkatsu with fried Squid. Just by looking at the coating and fresh smell of the cutlets you could tell that the oil was fresh and not old. The color of coating was cinnamony brown which is the right color for deep fried food. Price very reasonable- this is a hidden gem
