Where is Nicole?
I use to get my nails done here some about 6 months ago. I stopped going to give my nails a break. I went to a different shop to get and full set and didn't like the work. So I figured I would go the The Nail Room since I was always satisfied with Nicole's work.
This morning I dropped in for a fill. When I walked in I noticed that the place had changed since my last visit. I thought it must be doing well. But the energy in the room was not pleasant. They lady who greeted me was very pleasant but I found it odd that she said she needed to call the manager. She then started to remove my gel polish and said the manager will be here to do your fill. Son I thought oh Nicole must be running late. Then another customer walks in and asks the prices and another employee oh whatever the manager says it will be but will be be around $20 - $25. I thought it was odd. A couple minutes later "the manager" walks in. She was speaking loudly to the ladies and pointing around the room and the scurried off to the back. "The manager" snatches my hand then stops to listen to the two employees in the back. They come running out and one starts quickly wiping down all the stations.
As she is working on my nails she keeps pulling my hands across the station. By this time my hands are hanging off the other side of the station. I thought to myself time to find another salon. She then yells again to the employees and they come running but you can see in their face that they are not happy and kind of terrified of what she may say.
My nails lift a lot so as she was cutting those parts off she was rough. After that things were ok as far as her work but she was not pleasant. The work is average and I will be going to find another salon.
The reason for 2 stars is because the lady who started on me was really nice (she deserves 5 stars). But when Anna took over and the way she treated the staff was unacceptable.
