I only ordered the pork butt arepa, but I was disappointed. It tasted exactly like a pulled pork sandwich, without any real South American flavor. The only vegetable was a thin slice of tomato. I did see that the avocado arepa had more vegetables, so maybe I just chose poorly.
The bun itself was a bit soggy ~ I would have liked it a bit crispier. So overall, the food was just a mediocre experience.
I will say however that the staff were very friendly and authentically from Venezuela, so much so that I feel a bit bad giving a 3 star review.
